Glass is a popular upcycling material. And there’s a lot of upcycle design made out of glass bottles and specifically wine bottles. And more on the subject of wine bottles. upcycleDZINE has published some fantastic upcycle design wine racks in the past, made out of objects like skies, railroad components and reclaimed plumbing pipes and fittings. And today another wine rack made out of pipes and fittings.
Sturdy industrial style wine rack
This amazing Wine Rack for 6 bottles is made out of black iron pipes and fittings. The design is by Derek Goodbrand, online shop on Etsy and based in Calgary, Alberta | Canada. The wine rack is handcrafted and has a sturdy industrial style that will look stunning in many interiors.
“I am a plumber by trade (hence my fascination with various types of pipe), but I am also a creator of furniture and home accessories. As you will see, I incorporate my trade into all aspects of my work, and I take pride in handcrafting pieces of superior quality that will last for generations.”

Derek uses reclaimed and salvaged materials whenever possible to minimize his furniture’s environmental impact. He also does this because he likes his furniture to have a history which makes each piece unique.
If you’re a wine lover and looking for a unique piece, well this wine rack might be the one.
