Niels Craens is a graphic designer. A few years ago he completed extensive research into the advantages and disadvantages of cardboard drinking packages. In response to his findings, he created the ingenious lamp ‘Enjoy Twice’. Niels tackled the problem of an object, the cardboard drinking packages, going to waste.
The words ‘Enjoy Twice’ shine through the packages that lack aluminium. You can only see these words when the lamp is switched on. He turns negative into positive. And this is what upcycling is all about: a process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products of better quality or for better environmental value. So you’re saving money + saving the environment!!
